Reports To: Parts Supervisor 
Department: Production

Essential Responsibilities
The General Labor, under the direction of the Parts Supervisor, provides general assistance to the Parts team.

Specific Responsibilities

• Remove bus parts from transmission and engine.
• Forklift heavy bus components & maneuver them around a warehouse in an organized fashion. 
• Assist in the recognition of metals, materials, and recyclable parts. 
• Clean and store all tools and equipment at end of shift.
• Daily cleanup and organization of designated work areas.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive parts
• Knowledge of basic tools and equipment relative to automotive repair
• Forklift experience required
• Ability to work in a physically demanding position that involves heavy lifting and manual labor. 
• Ability to work under minimum supervision while working in a team-oriented environment
